The goals of the Tomorrow’s Leaders program are:

Enable New Mexico’s rural youth to engage in local public policy.
Improve youths’ understanding of the democratic process and their communities.
Strengthen youths’ research, communication, and writing skills.
Strengthen local policymakers’ capacity to set effective policy affecting youth.
Improve youths’ long-term civic engagement.
